Typhoon Hagupit (Ruby) slams the Philippines with heavy rains and strong winds. The typhoon's center spares Northern Panay, a previously devastated area, but the following days are yet to be assessed. As of now (12/7/2014 4:57 P.M.), more than a million individuals have been evacuated.
